Dear Mr. Franze,
Reference to your fax dated 19th July 1996, we have agreed with the Municipality in
the meeting of 24th July 1996 that the Municipality makes field checks on the design
drawings they have for those lines.
The information requested is needed by you to find out the sufficiency of those lines to
carry the flows.
On 13th August 1996, I was informed by Mr. Hind that the Municipality do not have
the design drawings except for one line. I then suggested to Mr. Hind that if they do
not have problems in operating the lines, then there would be no need to check the
sufficiency of the lines, If they have problems with certain lines (main collectors), then
they should provide us with pipe diameter, invert depth from ground, and pipe length
This should be done through a field survey. @
We, therefore, await for the Municipality to provide us feedback on this matter.
