The meeting was held upon the request of MAB to review the
progress of works and discuss the issue of the selection of sites for
the drying beds and the pumping station.
MAB informed the Consultant that a meeting with the
Municipality of the Jerusalem (MOJ) was held on 22/7/96 to get
their approval to use a site for the Lower South pumping station
MOS requested that a meeting with their Consultant (Balasha
Jalon) be arranged A meeting was arranged on Monday 29/7/96
at 10:30 in Jerusalein.
The Consultant handed over a draft copy of the drawings and
requested MAB to review and give their comments.
MAB requested that the Consultant mention to in the Tender
Documents that the pretreatment unit needs no modifications and
the Consultant should include its final design
MAB requested that the Consultant inchide the methane gas
power generation unit in the Tender Documents. The MAB will
delete this item if this concept proves to be not feasible.
The Consultant informed the MAB that the Wastewater
Treatment Plant Design Report was completed and is sent by
DHL
The Prequalification of contractors was discussed and it was
decided that the advertisement date be Ist August in Palestine and
Jordan. It was understood that Dr. Dahlem will advertise in
Germany as well.
