Purchase of a Photocopier (@)
Dear Mr. Mayor,
as J already told you, with its letter of 12 June 1996, the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and
Development has agreed on and approved our alteration offer for the Waste Water Project Al
Bireh.
Under the heading “commodity purchases“ the purchase of a photocopier is foreseen (among
others).
As already discussed with your Engineering Department (City Engineer Munif Treish and Project
Manager Monther Hind), GI'Z guidelines require the submittal of at least three comparative
offers. According to Mr. Treish, this has already been taken care of.
Once you have received and evaluated the offers, I kindly ask you to inform me in writing about
your final decision regarding the order of a photocopier.
The order can be given, immediately upon my approval. Since the purchase will be handled
through the Waste Water Project Al Bireh, it should be first and foremost dealt with by the
Engineering Department. Duc to the high sensitivity of such an electronic apparatus I recommend
to nominate a person to be specifically responsible for it.
