Organisational Study for the ‘Technical Department (New Waste Water Department) Oo
Dear Mr. Mayor,
as already discussed with the City Engineer Munif ‘Ireish and the Project Manager Monther
Hind, we recommend to conduct an organisational study for the ‘Technical Department
(Administration and Management Unit for a new Waste Water Department). Within the confines
of such a study, especially the job descriptions for all employers should be elaborated and
defined.
We suggest to commit Prof. Altmann to draw up such a study, since he had also been
commissioned to undertake a similar study for the Water Supply and Sewerage Authority,
Bethlehem, Beit Sahur, Beit Jala, which enabled him to gain first-hand experience in this area.
We already approached Prof. Altmann on this matter and he has indicated his willingness to take
over this task. He probably will be at our disposal by the beginning of October 1996.
Before concluding any contracts, | would very much appreciate any comments you may have on
this matter.
