A new implementation agreement is currently drafted in the GTZ’s main office and will be ready
for submittal in due course.
‘The existing financial agreement has also to be changed accordingly. A corresponding draft will
be soon available.
The delays which occurred during the first project phase, particularly with regard to the
implementation of the planning and the securing of the total financing, have certainly had positive
effects on the project, too. For example, essential changes related to the basic data, which only
became known and available during 1995, could be integrated into the planning.
We are confident that the agreements which are yet to be concluded can be signed very soon and
that the project will be successfully implemented.
