Al Karamah is a new German-language
quarterly published in solidarity with the
struggle of the Arab peoples and the
peoples of the three continents gener-
ally. Al Karamah began publication this
year, and we were pleased to receive
the first issue. The main article is the first
installment of a longer analysis which
traces the historical development of the
Palestinian liberation struggle, providing
a good background for understanding
the current situation in the PLO. Also
included are several articles which
expose the racism and class nature of
the Israeli state, its role in Latin America
