restricts their movement and travel. Arabs are denied
the basic rights of expression, assembly, and association.
They are not permitted to publish newspapers or to form
political organisations. Educational opportunities for
Arabs are severely restricted ; the higher the level of
education, the more discriminatory the restriction of op-
portunities. The Arabs have limited access to employment
and they are denied the right to « equal pay for equal
work ». The agricultural lands and homes of the Arabs
are subject to confiscation by administrative degree. Fi-
nally, the Arabs are considered to be « class B » citizens.
Israel Today
The establishment of the state of Israel does not
only embody a usurpation of power, but also an extension
of world: Zionism, In other worlds, it is the paradigm case
of racism, usurpation and invasion, historically connected
with imperialism. Thus, it is a threat to the security and
integrity of the Arab States, and to the cause of anti-
colonialism and liberation in the Afro-Arian countries.
1. Israel represents an imminant danger of ex-
pansion and aggression :
a. Israel encompasses four fifths of the total land
area of Palestine, thus violating the resolutions adopted
bv the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1947.
